N25 New Ross Bypass

 

The N25 New Ross Bypass Scheme includes the construction of sections of both the N25 and N30 routes. The PPP Project will comprise works of: 13.6km of dual carriageway (N25 and N30 routes) and 1.2km of single carriageway (New Ross N30 route). The project also includes a 900m River Barrow crossing by way of a 3 tower extrados bridge as well as a railway crossing and eleven road bridges. The upfront design and construction costs are being financed by the PPP Co who in turn will be remunerated by payments (termed Unitary or Availability Payments) made by TII over the twenty-five-year operational period contract term. The N25 New Ross Bypass PPP Contract was awarded in January 2016 to New Ross N25 By-Pass DAC, a consortium consisting of BAM PPP PGGM Infrastructure Coöperatie U.A. and Iridium Concesiones de Infrastucturas S.A.
