TII Heritage Series

(ISSN 2009-8480)

The TII Heritage series aims to showcase the results of TII-funded works relating to archaeological, architectural, cultural and natural heritage on national road and public transport projects. Illustrating the Past, the inaugural volume in the series, was published in August 2015. The latest addition to the series—Building on the Past: archaeological investigations on the N2/M2 Fingals to Ashbourne |Road Project (TII Heritage 15)—was published in November 2024.

Places for the Living, Places for the Dead (TII Heritage 14) has been nominated in the 'Book of the Year' category of the 2025 Current Archaeology Awards.

Recent volumes (TII Heritage 7 onwards) may be downloaded as ePubs (zipped files) for use with eReaders and similar devices. Should you have any queries please contact archaeology@tii.ie.
